Get the Awful Awful!!! I was told about this place as soon as i got to downtown Reno. So after a few, well, more than a few drinks i stumbled inside to get one of these burgers with the funny name. Pretty cheap ($7-$8) and i got one of the biggest 1/2 pound burgers I've ever eaten. And probably my second favorite only to Nashville's Fat Mo's burger. I got it loaded up with all the fixins (the only way I do it) and the special sauce, which was reminiscent of Mickey D's Big Mac sauce, but better. Also, i was not expecting nearly a pound of seasoned fries to come with it! They were good but there was no way I could finish them. Great late-night-drunk-after-losing-all-your-money-at-th e-casino food!

Beer: Diamond Bear Presidential IPA

We have a day off today and are hangin' with Trevor (our tour manager's) folks in little rock. Just saw the movie "Inception" and it blew my mind!
Now we are cooking tacos and washing it down with a " Diamond Bear presidential IPA ". It's delicious! It's hoppy, a little bitter and leaves your taste buds rockin'. I recommend. It's one of my favorite Arkansas finds !

I don't know why to be honest, but I've always liked Shiner. It's dark but not too dark and when it's cold it tastes delicious without being too heavy and weighing you down. It's great out of a tap, a bottle and if you are in Texas you can get it in a can too! It's a brown ale and gets my vote for the best beer so far in Texas .

Local Beer Blog #3 - Lonestar

Big skies and cold beers...
That's Texas in a nutshell for me. When you get beer on your rider at shows it's usually pbr or bud lite, but in Texas it's Lonestar! That's what makes me excited about Texas shows. It's the little things.
If I had to describe Lonestar I'd say it's like a smoother PBR . When it's cold it goes down nice and easy. You could drink 10 and not be full. Great for a summer day in the sun.

SO MUCH HAS HAPPENED IN THE LAST WEEK THAT I'VE DECIDED RATHER THAN TO TRY AND WRITE A NOVEL I'M JUST GOING TO MAKE A BIG LIST !
Here we go.....
1. Drive 8.5 hours from Modesto to Vegas after the show
2. Arrive in Vegas 7:30am
3. Immediately go bowling
4. Have a beer & win $50
5. Go to Radio station, do interview, play 2 songs acoustic, take pictures, leave station
6. Lunch with our Label Radio guy Boosh at a Chinese place
