Local Beer Blog #3 - Lonestar

Beer: Lonestar
Rating: 7 out of 10
Made in: Ft Worth, TX

Big skies and cold beers...

That's Texas in a nutshell for me. When you get beer on your rider at shows it's usually pbr or bud lite, but in Texas it's Lonestar! That's what makes me excited about Texas shows. It's the little things.

If I had to describe Lonestar I'd say it's like a smoother PBR . When it's cold it goes down nice and easy. You could drink 10 and not be full. Great for a summer day in the sun.

Shiner bock tomorrow from Austin!

Do you like beer?!?

So we decided since we are traveling to so many cool places we're going to start keeping track of all the local and regional beers we are sampling along the way... Today's was one that is starting to make it's way across the country but is still especially delicious in the north west close to it's home.

Reno - Tour Blog

Greetings from somewhere in Nevada ! We are in route to Reno for an acoustic show this afternoon and then the full rock show tonight! Looking forward to tryin to win a million dollars on the slot machines:) The last couple nights have been lots of fun and lots of traveling! We played Spokane and had an overnight drive to Portland, then overnight from Portland to Boise and then another 5 hours after last nights show. The thing we've found most interesting in Oregon, Washington and Idaho are the strict drinking rules in the venues. These shows have all had a separate area for under and over 21 years of age. The thing that is bizarre is we can't carry drinks to and from backstage to watch the other bands... Not the end of the world but it's not like that in the south !!!! Off to radio...
