Starving in downtown Chicago, i was craving asian food. The one place that Yelp helped me out with was Tamarind, an asian fusion cuisine. The atmosphere was very swank and the place was pretty packed on a Thursday. The server was nice but a bit short. She did recommend the yaki udon which i got with chicken. It was pretty tasty, but did lack a little flavor. I had to dump a little soy sauce on it and i hate doing that. But like I said I was starving and would've eaten anything. The menu was large and looked pretty good though. I wish i'd tried the ahi tuna poke appetizer but maybe I will another time.
